Let's Be Honest About Beauty

Have you ever considered having a bit of 'work' done?

We're not talking surgical intervention, but nifty little 'tweakments' that fit into your lunch hour and can seriously roll the years back with nothing more invasive than a needle.

Tweakments are especially gaining ground in the age of the new coronavirus. Blame your daily stand-up meeting! “Unflattering Zoom angles are the new awkward selfie.”

Is there such a thing as "subtle" cosmetic treatments?

Cosmetic treatments are on the rise, with more and more people wanting to look younger, feel more confident, and change aspects of their appearance. Whether or not you choose to get a treatment is totally up to you — but if you do, you may be wondering: Is there such a thing as subtle cosmetic treatments? Some stigma surrounding these treatments is due to the fact that some results look unnatural or overdone, while many people go into their appointment wanting to just look slightly different.

Tweakments is the new trend in cosmetic procedures, and it’s just what you’ve been looking for!

What are Tweakments?

Tweakments are subtle, non-invasive cosmetic procedures that improve the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and other early signs of aging, without dramatically changing your appearance. As an example, the voluminous Kylie Jenner lip look is not a tweakment — but a small amount of lip filler is. And the Botox treatments that make your face immovable and expressionless isn’t a tweakment either, but a few subtle injections around your 11 lines are. But tweakments aren’t limited to treatments like Botox or Juvederm — many of the services at Cosmetic Laser Center are tweakments! Using lasers and other state-of-the-art technology and techniques, these skin treatments will help you look younger and more rejuvenated.

Are they Really Subtle?

The goal of a tweakment is not to have overly-plumped lips or a completely smooth face with no expressions — rather, tweakments are small changes that might not even be noticeable to anyone but yourself. However, you’ll likely notice that your fine lines and dark circles will be diminished, or your jawline will be subtly more defined. You’ll look younger and less tired, without looking unnatural.

When Should I Get a Tweakment?

You can get tweakments at any time, but the treatments are becoming increasingly popular among people in their late-20s to late-30s, when many people typically see early signs of aging, like fine lines, loss of lip fullness, or uneven skin tone. Tweakments can also be preventative, depending on the procedure you choose. Many people in their early- to mid-20s will do preventative treatments a couple times a year to prevent early signs of aging later on!
